Customer Service Specialist (Newport, KY)
Job Responsibilities (not inclusive):
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring an optimal service experience for customers engaging in services at Brighton Center's Family Center. The Customer Service Specialist will greet and welcome customers, provide emergency assistance and crisis intervention, make necessary referrals to internal and external programs to assist individuals and families in achieving their hopes and dreams. The Customer Service Specialist has a variety of clerical and direct service duties including, but not limited to, answering a multiline phone system, generating donation tax receipts, and tracking donations. The Customer Service Specialist will use Vesta, Outlook, and Excel spreadsheets to document services provided and measure outcome achievement. The Customer Service Specialist is expected to understand program outcomes and have the ability to meet/exceed program measures.
Requirements (not inclusive):
Some college or a high school diploma and one or more years of experience working in the human services field providing direct services. Experience working with diverse populations. Must have the ability to multi-task and function in a fast-pace environment. Knowledge should include data entry, reporting, record keeping and case management. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Must possess public speaking ability and excellent customer service skills. Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Pay Scale: $10- $12 per hour/Non-Exempt
