Resource Advocate is responsible for building relationships with individuals and families that lead to barrier removal, goal setting and economic stability. The Resource Advocate will have a family centered approach that serves the whole family to provide emergency assistance and crisis intervention, make necessary referrals to internal and external programs, assist individuals and families in developing an action plan, and empower families and individuals to move from crisis, to stability, to achieve the hopes and dreams. The Resource Advocate is expected to understand program outcomes and have the ability to meet/exceed program measures. The Resource Advocate will use Vesta and Excel spreadsheets to document services provided and measure outcome achievement.
Associate Degree in a human services field or equivalent of two or more years of direct services and case management.
Knowledge should include whole family services, case management, data entry, reporting, record keeping and goal setting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Public speaking ability, great customer service skills and a bi-lingual candidate is preferred. Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation is required.
$11-$13 per hour (Non-exempt)
